Now , i have downloaded Redhat Enterprise Server 5 and try to install. But it didn't know harddrive. I want to know about redhat. I found that Ubuntu is good at community supporting. But I can't find any supporting for redhat. Please, help me?

u need to known your motherboard chip set.
Redhat didn't know VIA chipset and
Some redhat didn't known SATA harddrive.
So,u need to chack your harddrive.

You better start with CentOS. It is community-based clone version of Red Hat. Its community is really strong.

I don't know red hat. Redhat is not good community version. You should try Fedora, first. Fedora and red hat are same company. Fedora have good community. Ubuntu and Fedora are not same terminal code.

yes, i have tried fedora and ubuntu. But i need to try redhat 5 for some reasons. So i am trying to get support for redhat.
